The uncertain is not only what is unknown, but also what reveals itself without disclosing its nature.
Through encounters with objects, phenomena, textures and spaces, this project explores inanimate subjects removed from any narrative intention. It is not about deciphering a secret, but about looking at the photographs with enough imagination to see beyond what they are.
The series explores the uncertainty that arises when an image draws us in without quite knowing why.
Expositivos 26
La presencia de lo incierto was one of four projects selected for the sixth edition of Expositivos, from over one hundred submissions received from across Spain. Eighteen photographic works were produced for the exhibition, fifteen of which I printed myself on fibre based paper and selenium toned.
The exhibition is on view at El Palacín in León (Spain) from 25 September 2026 to 14 February 2027.
